Easy Garden Basil Pesto
Summer isn’t complete without one of my favorite kitchen staples: delicious pesto made fresh from the garden. It’s so easy to make, and you can get creative by adjusting the ingredients and proportions until you’ve mastered your craft. Pesto combines essential ingredients in varying proportions and is blended or chopped in a food processor to the consistency you desire. Once you’ve made it a few times, you’ll know what style you and your family prefer. Trial and error is the best way to learn what you like best, and luckily, you almost always wind up with something delicious.
Grilled Prosciutto-Wrapped Palisade Peaches with Burrata and Herbs
Pairing opportunities are limitless with this 15-minute, delicious summer appetizer! I wanted to design a combination of both complementary and contrasting flavors. To achieve this, I brought together the prosciutto's saltiness, the juicy peaches' sweetness, the tang of the balsamic reduction, and the delicate herbal notes of fresh mint. A spray of freshly cracked pepper, coarse sea salt, and a color pop from fresh edible flowers tied it together. I hope you love it as much as I do!
Fourth of July Beef and Lobster Surf 'n' Turf
I'll show you how to create the most delicious 4th of July Surf 'n' Turf feast featuring a grazing board of delicious beef and lobster hot off my Traeger pellet grill! For sides, I added pan-fried potatoes, fresh green beans, fresh lemon, and parsley atop it all.
Grilled Beef Tenderloin ‘TaCones’
Just wait until you experience this menu of Mexican-inspired flavors at your next summertime gathering! My epic TaCone (a cone-shaped grilled taco) recipe is a mélange of juicy beef tenderloin marinated in mezcal, fajita veggies, queso fresco, pickled red onion, and fresh cilantro, jalapeño, and avocado.
